Lisa Tirimacco is an underwater photographer and emerging cultural correspondent whose work moves between ocean depths and diplomatic salons. Having lived in Hawai‘i, Washington, DC, and Atlanta, Lisa writes about the subtle infrastructures of diplomacy: exhibitions, screenings, cultural gatherings, and the shared spaces where global narratives quietly unfold.

Shannon was a contributor to Diplomatica Global Media during the summer of 2025 as part of the outlet’s 2025 Internship Cohort. At the time, she was a junior at the College of William & Mary studying government and economics. Her research interests include international political economy and international security, and she plans to pursue a doctoral degree in political science.

Peerawaut was a contributor to Diplomatica Global Media during the summer of 2025 as part of the outlet’s 2025 Internship Cohort. At the time, he was a senior at the College of William & Mary studying government. He is passionate about community-based journalism and reporting on issues affecting ordinary people. During his time with Diplomatica, he contributed to the outlet’s exploration of diplomatic micro-cities.

At the time, she was a junior at the College of William & Mary studying government and sociology. She serves as a Variety Editor for The Flat Hat, William & Mary’s student newspaper, where she works to engage a broad cross-section of the student body.

C. Naseer Ahmad is a Washington-based writer with globally published articles and letters. His work includes advocacy for the human rights of religious minorities worldwide. Ahmad has served as a consultant to the World Bank in Africa, USAID in Egypt, NASA’s Space Shuttle and Space Station programs, and a range of other governmental and private-sector projects.
