Having lived in Hawai‘i, Washington, DC, and Atlanta, Lisa writes about the subtle infrastructures of diplomacy: exhibitions, screenings, cultural gatherings, and the shared spaces where global narratives quietly unfold.

Shannon was a contributor to Diplomatica Global Media during the summer of 2025 as part of the outlet’s 2025 Internship Cohort. At the time, she was a junior at the College of William & Mary studying government and economics. Her research interests include international political economy and international security, and she plans to pursue a doctoral degree in political science.

C. Naseer Ahmad is a Washington-based writer with globally published articles and letters. His work includes advocacy for the human rights of religious minorities worldwide. Ahmad has served as a consultant to the World Bank in Africa, USAID in Egypt, NASA’s Space Shuttle and Space Station programs, and a range of other governmental and private-sector projects.
