Mexican Cultural Institute is hosting Oaxaca Central: Contemporary Mexican Printmaking, a special preview of the upcoming exhibition at the Chrysler Museum of Art in Norfolk, Virginia offering a glimpse into the vibrant tradition of Oaxacan printmaking. The Embassy of Canada would like to remind the U.S. that they two countries have been friends since both of their foundings. In case anyone's forgotten, there's a great exhibit showcasing the long friendships between Canadian Prime Ministers and U.S. presidents. It opened on Inauguration Day and will run until May 2, 2025. Free and open to the public during business hours. Security screening required.

Opening March 20 at the House of Sweden, Snow and Rain Shall Pass by Swedish Photographer Karin Alfredsson includes works from the series Disappearing Landscapes and The Arctic Ocean: A Journey to the North Pole. Free and open to the public Saturday and Sunday. Confirm hours with embassy.

Established by the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) in 1967, this day highlights the importance of children's literature in promoting literacy, creativity, and cultural understanding. Through events, book readings, and literacy initiatives, International Children's Book Day encourages children to explore new worlds through books
To celebrate International Children's Book Day, Great Reads from Around the World features The Sandwich Swap, an inspiring story about celebrating similarities across cultures.
It's a recommendation from the Embassy of Jordan, written by Her Majesty Queen Raina Al Abdullah of Jordan and award-winning children's book author Kelly DiPucchio.
